Design of Experiments (DOE):
The DOE course instructs students to identify
and quantify the sources of variation, develop specifications and optimize
design and process parameters.
Efficiency of these methods results in fewer
experiments and lower cost of experimentation. The direct benefit of DOE
is reduced research and development effort as well as reduced set-up costs.
