Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T):

Angular coordinate tolerancing methods are not accurate enough for today’s designs and tight product specifications. Through the use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) companies can increase their competitive advantage by defining geometric tolerance zones instead of acceptable rectangular coordinates. This effectively maximizes the product’s allowable error while minimizing tolerance accumulation.

Through the knowledge gained in this course, trainees will be able to read Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances from prints, establish geometric tolerance zones, and verify part accuracy.
